Former Express FC Midfielder, Taddeo Lwanga returns to Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku as SC Villa skipper and is aware of what to expect.

Lwanga, who played for the Red Eagles for a couple of years before crossing to bitter rivals still calls Wankulukuku home and says it be great playing there.

“Playing at home (Wankulukuku) is always a great honour,” said Lwanga. “I think nothing has changed, the pitch still same,” he added.

The ‘engineer’ as dubbed due to his academic profession adds that the 3-2 win in the reverse fixture will without doubt spice up the tie although he thinks his side’s good preparation gives them confidence despite admitting it will be tough.

I think we are well prepared for the derby. We beat them in the first round at home and this will spice up the game. I know it won’t be easy but you have to win games like this if you are to win the league. Hoping for the very best.

The Jogoos go into the game top of the standings with 47 points; one better than second placed KCCA but the former has played two more games.
