Bright Stars will seek to end a run of seven successive league games without victory when they take on rejuvenated Kirinya Jinja SS at Champions Stadium, Mwererwe.

Fred Kajoba recently revealed his side have gone over nine months without pay and it remains to be seen which kind of performance they will produce on the day against a side motivated to survive relegation.

The Students have won their previous two games; 1-0 against Vipers and Police to temporarily move out of the relegation zone and maximum points on Tuesday will see them brighten their chance of staying up.

For the hosts, despite sitting 9th on the 16-team table with 27 points, another loss will leave them in a bitter fight for relegation having collected just 6 points out of a possible 27 in the second half of the season.

A win for Kirinya Jinja SS takes them to 26 points and it will be the first time this season that they win three games in succession.

Bright Stars last home win came in December – 3-0 against Police FC while Jinja SS have only won once away from home – 2-0 against Sadolin Paints on February 12, this year.
