When BUL Football Club takes on Sadolin Paints on Tuesday, they will not play at their usual home ground of Kakindu in Jinja Municipality.
Rather, Peter Onen’s side will be hosting the duel at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.
This is because Kirinya-Jinja S.S will be at Kakindu stadium against already relegated Jinja Municipal Council Hippos on the same day.
Come the Njeru duel, a lot is at stake for the two sides.
Fast forward, either side is still entangled in a fierce battle against relegation.
With 29 points from 27 games, BUL is 12th as Sadolin Paints is second from bottom on the 16 team log with 26 points from the same number of games.
Incidentally, both sides lost in their previous matches last week.
Bul fell to Proline 2-1 at Lugogo as Sadolin Paints’ latest slip was the 2-0 home loss to The Saints.
For starters, Sadolin Paints will play the match without their suspended coaches – Simon Kirumira and AbdulSamadu Musafiri who were asked by management to step aside following a string of unconvincing results.
That stated; Kenneth Magada and Peter Ssengonzi have the full powers to handle the side for the game as they they face their rivals.
In Norman Ogik and Fred Kyambadde, Magada and compatriot have the two trusted goal scoring machines for the club to build on.
The duo will be complimented by Safi Bassani and another club prodigal son Peter Katumba.
Skipper Ronald Lukungu is expected to offer the crucial directional sense given his awesome team leadership skills.
For Bul who have blown hot and cold this term will bank on the goal poaching instincts of Godfrey Villa Oromochan, a mid-season signing from Uganda Revenue Authority.
Box to box midfielder Yunus Sibira, scorer of the consolation against Proline will be the key man in the middle of the pack alongside the hardworking David ‘Ngolo Kante’ Bagoole, Robert Achema as robust center half, Derrick ‘Rasta’ Walulya commands the backline as usual.
Maximum points for either side will be key towards survival against relegation for any of the clubs in question.
Last season, Sadolin Paints also played at the Njeru against Bright Stars following the unavailability of Bugembe stadium.
