Owen Kasule has revealed he has left relegated Lweza FC after just one season at the club.

The attacking midfielder joined the club at the start of the recently concluded season scoring seven goals and bagging several assists but that couldn’t save the Oranje from going down on the last day of the season.

“It’s sad to announce that I am leaving Lweza,” Kasule told Kawowo Sports. “I am grateful for the opportunity they offered to me and it’s very sad that the club went down despite our effort,” he added.

Kasule, a league winner with KCCA joined the club from the Lugogo based side but had spent the second half of the 2015/16 season on loan at The Saints, which he helped survive relegation.

Open to offers

With the transfer window officially opening on July 1, the midfielder says he is open to offers although he has been approached by a couple of clubs.

There are offers on the table but as of now, nothing conclusive. I am still open to offers since even the window is yet to open.

Besides Lweza, The Saints and KCCA, Kasule has also played for Vipers – then Bunamwaya and URA.
