Defending champions Namibia can lose and still win the Africa Gold Cup while second placed Kenya have to win and deny their hosts a losing bonus point to claim the championship.
The African crown will be decided Saturday when the two top sides clash in Windhoek.
Namibia have been perfect thus far, collecting maximum points in all their opening four games. Last year’s winners are coming off a 48-24 win over Uganda in Kampala while Kenya defeated Zimbabwe in Bulawayo.
Kenya must win the game without letting Namibia get a losing bonus point to claim the title.
With the campaign coming to an end on August 5, both Kenya and Namibia will conclude their part of the action this weekend and either side will be hoping to bow out with the cup.
Kenya’s chances were ruptured after a 33-all draw with the Rugby Cranes in their opening game of the season in Nairobi.
In the other game of the day, the Zimbabwe Sables will host relegation threatened Tunisia with the two sides chasing different targets.
Zimbabwe have a chance of dislodging third placed Uganda if they win their last two games, against Tunisia and Uganda itself.
For Tunisia, it is a fight for their life in Africa’s premier division. Pointless after three games, Tunisia will be hoping for a good result before their final game against Senegal, the other relegation candidate.
Both Senegal and Tunisia want to participate in the World Cup qualifiers and the clash at Stade Mustapha Ben Jannet will settle everything on the final day.
