Four-time National Basketball League champions City Oilers recorded a routine victory against Falcons on Sunday evening at Lugogo Indoor Stadium.

With the game not so physically demanding, Landry Ndikumana had a fair outing by his standards this season. The power forward glided through the key for easy twos especially during the opening quarter in which he scored 8 of City Oilers 21 points.

Mandy Juruni gave his bench players a run out with Tonny Drileba, Daniel Juuko, Geoffrey Omondi, Brian Ssentongo, Joseph Chuma and Jonah Otim logging atleast 19 minutes.

Oilers found little resistance through out the game and despite a poor shooting evening, they still manged to win by 28 points thanks in part to Falcons abominable offense and carelessness with the ball.

Ndikumana scored 14 points, Stephen Omony 13 and Ssentongo 12 to lead Oilers team effort.

Bernard Okuma who played the entire game scored game high 16 points for Falcons, shooting guard Francis Karoro had 10 while Vinnie Jurua and Dickson Asiku contributed 7 points apiece for Falcons who sit at the base of the 12 team league table with a 2-6 record.
