Mbarara City Football Club has completed the signing of former Sports Club Villa goalkeeper Ali Kimera.
Kimera put pen to paper on a two year deal for undisclosed fee.
He started in goal for Mbarara City against Vipers in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday that ended in a one-all draw.
Kimera becomes the 7th new signing for the club christened as the Ankole Lions. He will beef up the goalkeeping department that has Muhammed Ssekebba and Jackson Opio.

He joins Congolese winger Swed Satugombo, Zaidi Byekwaso, Francis Mustafa, Harishe Asuman Kihogo,Pistis Barenge and Fred Kalanzi.
In January 2014, Ali Kimera was invited to be a part of the Uganda national football team squad for the 2014 African Nations Championship.
The team placed third in the group stage of the competition after beating Burkina Faso, drawing with Zimbabwe and losing to Morocco.
