Tanzania top flight side, Azam Football Club has arrived in Uganda on Sunday morning ahead of a planned training camp that will last for 10 days.

The 35 man contingent was received by the general manager of Azam Television in Uganda, Simon Arinaitwe.

The team will play four friendly matches with KCCA FC, URA FC, SC Villa and Arua based club Onduparaka.

Azam F.C Head coach, Aristica Cioaba from Romania believes the training camp and the international build ups will help shape his side before the kick off for the Tanzania season.

In an exclusive interview with Kawowo Sports upon arrival, Aristica was upbeat about the friendlies;

We are glad to be in Uganda for the training camp.

We hope that the friendly matches that we shall play will help a great deal for the preparations of the new season

The group is accommodated at Top Five Hotel in Ntinda, a suburb of Kampala.

They conducted their first training in Uganda at Lugogo on Sunday evening.

Mwadini Ally, Razak Abalora, Benedict Haule, Aggrey Morris, David Mwantika, Yakubu Mohammed, Daniel Amoah, Abdallah Kheri, Swaleh Abdallah, Bruce Kangwa, Hamimu Abdul,  Nahodha Himid Mao ‘Ninja’, Salum Abubakar ‘Sure Boy’, Frank Domayo ‘Chumvi’, Stephan Kingue, Salmin Hoza, Bryson Raphael, Masoud Abdallah ‘Cabaye’, Mawinga Joseph Mahundi, Enock Atta, Idd Kipagwile, Joseph Kimwaga, Yahaya Mohammed, Mbaraka Yusuph, Wazir Junior and Yahya Zayd.
