- Today’s NBL Fixtures – YMCA
- Power vs. Warriors – 8pm
- JKL vs. KCCA Leopards – 6pm

The top two sides in the National Basketball League currently will go head to head tonight at YMCA as the second round gets underway.
Familiar foes Warriors (10-1) and Power (9-2) will lock horns with revenge on the mind of the latter having lost the first round encounter 72-66.
Warriors – who have won the league twice, the last of which came in 2012 also their last finals appearance – have benefited from adding Michael Buzangu and Saidi ‘Carmelo’ Amisi to their team. Bazangu was the star man for against Power with 36 points and will be looking to turn in a similar shift.
Syrus Kiviiri looks fired up for the season and believes they can go all way. But first they will have to get the work done tonight with complementary efforts from Mark Opio and Philip Ameny. Jude Ochen and Co will have to be at their best off the bench for Warriors to stay atop.
With signing of veteran Burundian guard Willy Ninjimbere who had sparks of brilliance against KIU, Power’s offensive options spread beyond Joseph Ikong, Michael Makiadi and Paul Odong which makes the fixture more intriguing.
Meanwhile in the ladies’ game, Flavia Oketcho and Muhayimina Namuwaya will be looking to hand their former side KCCA Leopards the first loss of the season when they lead inconsistent JKL Ladies.
