Vipers Sports Club will not play their intended friendly match against Namilyango Tigers on Tuesday as earlier communicated.
The development was confirmed by the club media manager Kenneth Muwanga.
“We shall not play on Tuesday against Namilyango Tigers like earlier planned. We are sorry for the inconveniences caused,” Muwanga confirmed.
The venons have played four matches in the off season against Natete Select (won 2-0), Hima Cement (won 3-1), Mbarara City (1-1) and suffered a 1-0 loss to Azam.
Seven of the club players are with the national team preparing for the FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt.
These are; Nico Wadada, Isma Watenga, Milton Karisa, Moses Waiswa, Erisa Ssekisambu, Tom Masiko and Deus Bukenya.
