Ugandan internationals Tonny Mawejje and Yunus Sentamu began the new season with a triumph in the Albania Super Cup as KF Tirana won 1-0 against Kukesi.

In a game both teams finished with a man less, the Albania Cup winners needed a late strike from Erion Hoxhallari in the 90th minute at Stadium Selman Stermasi.

Mawejje who completed a move to the side late last month made his debut donning shirt number 20 and so did Sentamu who on a number of occasions tested the opponents’ goalie but unfortunately couldn’t get on the score sheet.
