- Mbarara University of Science & Technology (MUST) 2-2 Bishop Stuart University
The much awaited University football league derby for the Mbarara based institutions ended in a 4 goal thrilling draw at the Mbarara University play ground.
Ivan Mugisha gave the home side a first minute lead. Wilber Masereka replied for the visiting team with the equalizer two minutes to the half hour mark as the first half ended one all.
Allan Akampurira restored MUST’s lead two minutes into the second half.
However, Hassan Kakuru had other ideas altogether with the equalizer in the 65th minute.
MUST’s Akampurira was voted man of the match.
The league continues on Thursday with Uganda Martyrs’ University hosting Kyambogo in Nkozi.
