Uganda Cup (Round of 64):

  • Mbarara Football Club 0-4 Kampala Capital City Authority
  • Broken 1-3 Vipers

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club secured a round of 32 berth after a convincing 4-0 result against Western regional outfit, Mbarara F.C at the Kakyeeka stadium on Saturday.

A brace from striker Patrick Kaddu and two other goals from Allan Okello and Paul Mucureezi were all the Kasasiro Lads required to finish off a resilient Mbarara side in a game watched by a lively crowd.

Kaddu would have easily scored a hat-trick but his weak kick from the penalty spot was saved by the goalkeeper as the game neared its climax.

KCCA, the reigning champions of the Uganda Cup thus progressed to the last 32 teams.

Meanwhile, Vipers overcame Kasese based Broken 3-1 to join KCCA among the other clubs at the next round.

Bashir Asiku, Frank Tumwesigye and Steven Mukwala scored for the Venoms whilst Xavier Masereka pulled a goal back for the home side.
