Uganda has landed a tough draw at the 2018 Commonwealth games. The draws held on Tuesday are based on world rankings.
The Ugandans will face England, Australia and South Africa at the Carrara Sports and Leisure Centre, Carrara stadium in Gold Coast city, Australia.
Favourites India will line up Pakistan, Scotland and Sri Lanka in group A.
In group B, Singapore faces Mauritius, Zambia and Jamaica as Malaysia, Canada, Seychelles and Ghana complete group D.
The team event will have men’s and women’s singles and three doubles – men’s, women’s and mixed in each tie.
The top two teams will move to the quarterfinals.
The draw for the knockout stage will be completed immediately after the last match of the group stage.
The mixed team event will be held over the first five days, starting on 5 April with medals decided on 9 April.
Then six days of singles and doubles action will unfold with medals decided on 14 April and 15 April.
