If Heathens had any chance of retaining the National Rugby Premiership title, then it’s completely no more.

Buffaloes dashed Heathens’ chances of defending the championship with a 23-18 win on Friday as they complete a season double over over their Kyadondo rivals.

With 10 points off the top having played a match more than leaders Pirates, Heathens can only start preps for next season as this year’s title is now Pirates, Kobs and Rhinos to fight for.

Meanwhile, Rhinos take their title fight to the House of Pain as they visit Mongers. Anything short of victory could derail their title challenge.

Kobs play Warriors in the lunchtime fixture at Legends while laders Pirates visits Rams at the Graveyard in Makerere.

Hippos entertain Impis at Dam Waters in the bottom of the table clash.

Saturday Fixtures

Mongers vs. Rhinos – 4:30 pm, Entebbe

Rams vs. Pirates – 4:30pm, Makerere

Hippos vs. Impis – 4:30 pm, Dam Waters

Warriors vs. Kobs – 2:30 pm, Legends
