Makerere University has reviewed plans the proposed indoor stadium to host the Kampala World University Netball Championship for September.

The 3,000 seater multi-purpose indoor stadium was hinted on by Vice Chancellor Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe last year when the Kampala World University Netball Championship website was launched.
The facility is now coming closer to a reality.
On Friday, a meeting was held between stakeholders to streamline the way forward as the event nears.
Just before the meeting, Prof. Nawangwe met with KCCA Executive Director Jennifer Musisi to discuss how to revamp the University facilities – later looking at immediate plans of constructing the indoor facility.
