After close to a year of no action, there is both good and bad news for Uganda Rugby fans.

Rugby will be back in Uganda on Saturday, March 6 with mesmerising fixtures where the banter-full MRI Rams will be visiting the Kyadondo-based Toyota Buffaloes, later in the day the Black Pirates will take on the reigning champions Heathens but that’s not all a lot more rugby will be happening around the country but sadly no fans will be allowed to watch the games at the grounds.

In an interview with Kawowo Sports, the Uganda Rugby Union CEO Ramsey Olinga said “the government says no fans in the stadiums” and when asked if going forward there are plans to have fans even in low numbers at the stadiums he made it clear that no fans will be allowed to watch games inside the grounds in a bid to follow all government directives that were put in place for the resumption of sports.

We shall miss such moments !
