In the late kick-off, Entebbe-based Mongers made a long-awaited visit to the Graveyard.

It was a tense environment with not so many fans that started off with a moment of silence for an Impis fallen soldier Mubanda Graham.

Shortly after, centre referee Raymond Kisseka set the game underway and Impis arrogantly put on board the first points of the day through a penalty kick.

However, it was not long before Mongers through returnee Timothy Luyirika scored the first try of the day that he converted. The Mongers went ahead to lead all through the game and efficiently blocked all attempts by Impis to regain the lead.
