Action between Entebbe Mongers (blue) and Pirates at the House of Pain
  • Nile Special Stout Rugby Premier League – Matchday Two
  • 4pm: Pirates vs Mongers
  • Kings Park Stadium, Bweyogerere

Black Pirates host Mongers during matchday two of the Nile Special Stout Rugby Premier League at Kings Park Stadium. Both teams are looking to take advantage of the one shot at glory nature of this season’s format.

Ruhweza starts ahead of Tinashe at tighthead prop and Tashobya has replaced Ayera which has pushed Aturinda to eighthman where he flourished last season.

Mongers have maintained their frontrow from the first game. But on the second row, Joachim Chisano who scored off the bench last weekend, starts alongside Malik Amos.

Wanyama, who last weekend had a performance he would want to forget, has been handed a start ahead of Stephen Alul at scrumhalf. This is the only change coach Robert Musinguzi has made to his backline for this game.

After an amazing display on his return after a season out, flyhalf Timothy Luyirika is out of the picture again due to work commitments. This has forced coach Tonda Fabian to turn to Edgar Kairu for the role.

With Mongers coming off a close win against Impis and Pirates looking to bounce back from the loss against Heathens, this match may yet again be too close to call for the bookmakers.
