A new rally car is in town.
Photos of the arrival of a Ford Fiesta R5 at Entebbe International airport have made rounds on motorsport forums but with less information of the owner.
However, Kawowo Sports has learnt that the car belongs to Kenya’s Amaanraj Singh Rai.
And that could spell a return to rallying for the Kenyan driver. He is likely to compete in the Uganda rally championship.
Rai has previously competed in the Kenyan Rally Championship.

In 2018, his Ford Fiesta R5 caught fire and burnt to ashes during the Guru Nanak rally pushing him into a brief sabbatical.
