BUL Football Club overcame visiting Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces 4-3 at the Kyabazinga stadium, Bugembe in Jinja city.
A brace apiece from Deogracious Ojok and Simon Peter Oketch inspired BUL, an entity coached by Arthur Kyesmira.
UPDF’s goals came from Ramathan Dudu (own goal), second half substitutes Ezekiel Katende and Brian Kayanja (penalty).

Ojok scored the only with only four minutes into the game, a well struck penalty past goalkeeper Yusuf Wasswa.
Oketch got the second in the 22nd minute, thanks to Robert Mukogontya’s donkey work.
Defender Dudu diverted Isa Mubiru’s teasing delivery past his own goalkeeper Sanon Mulabi for as UPDF pulled a goal back.
Upon resumption of the second half, former BUL player Katende who had just replaced Brian Kalumba scored with his first touch to make it 2-all.

The army side made two other changes; Ruben Kabuye and Brian Kayanja were thrown into action for Hassan Zzinda and Christopher Kamagu respectively.
Oketch assisted Ojok for BUL’s third goal on the hour mark. Seven minutes later, Kayanja brought the game level with a well struck penalty after Sheif Batte had been brought down into the forbidden area.

Oketch founded the winner with nine minutes left on the clock, with Mukongotya providing the assist.
Oketch was deservedly named the pilsner player of the match.
This was BUL’s 7th win of the season which took them to 24 points, same as Onduparaka who fell at home 3-2 to visiting MYDA in Arua city.
On the other hand, UPDF suffered their 9th loss of the season as they remain on 28 points.
In the other matches, Police overcame Kitara 4-1 at Lugogo, Soltilo Bright Stars recovered from a goal down to beat Express 2-1 in Kavumba as Vipers and Wakiso Giants shared the spoils goal-less at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
