Overview:
Now that Entebbe Soccer Academy has a comfortable training ground, the children ought to feel at home with a clean playing surface and comfortable environs. For the local community, this is yet a golden blessing to utilize the facility to keep the bodies and mind fully fit as well as network (socialize) prior to, during and after the interactive high intensity games.
By the roadside, just adjacent the lovely Lake Victoria shores at Kitubulu village in Katabi Town Council, Wakiso District lies an amazing football facility.
This is a newly laid astro-turf mini-stadium tagged as the ESA Park – Kitubulu.
The ESA Park – Kitubulu is home to the fast-sprouting Entebbe Soccer Academy, a project for promising budding footballers aged 4 to 16 years old.

This facility is barely a fortnight old, providing many football passionate enthusiasts an opportunity to quench their thirst for the beautiful game as they feel the natural breeze off the gigantic Lake Victoria and near-by Kitubulu Forest reserve.
ESA Park – Kitubulu is sandwiched between the public beach, a high-profile residence, a washing bay and the main Entebbe – Kampala Highway, guaranteeing easy accessibility.
This flood-lit facility also has ample parking space with adequate security for the customers at all times.

Business mogul and a retired football player Miph Mugabi, the brain behind this project boldly attests, it is still work in progress with many more modifications coming up.
The ESA Park Kitubulu stadium is up and running. This is the official home for the Entebbe Soccer Academy but other people can also come and use the facility at pocket-friendly fees levied per hour. We are working upon a lot more things as the changing rooms, lavatories, parking and more lights. It remains work at hand.

Now that Entebbe Soccer Academy has a comfortable training ground, the children ought to feel at home with a clean playing surface and comfortable environs.
Previously, Entebbe Soccer Academy was using the nearby Works playground in the heart of Entebbe town and sometimes the Manyango community playground, owned by Entebbe Secondary School.
“This is a good home ground for Entebbe Soccer Academy. It is very accessible to all parents and the children. The surface is also good to the players” former KCCA and Police winger George Otika, now head of coaches at the academy reveals.

For the local community, this is yet a golden blessing to utilize the facility to keep the bodies and minds fully fit for active as well as retired footballers.
This is also a viable platform to network (socialize) prior to, during and after the interactive high intensity games.
“I feel happy and relieved that we have such a facility in Entebbe. It is near my home and gives me an opportunity to come and sweat off the stress, meet friends before I return home” Wilson Ssebanja, a resident of Katabi notes.
Entebbe Municipality also has a similar facility along Eric Magala Road in Bugonga, Division B.
Along Entebbe road, there is also an astro-turf amenity at Namulanda near Kisubi and Freedom city (Namasuba).
Across the country, the astro turf facilities are drastically multiplying in Kampala, Mbarara, Jinja, Mukono and latest Arua.
