Proscovia Peace ascended to the top of the scoring leaderboard in the Netball Superleague as her side Surrey Storm beat Severn Stars.
The She Cranes captain was the star of the show at Surrey Sports Park on Monday night, dominating the circle in the 76-51 win.
Peace scored 45 goals and missed just 3 shots as the Storm dominated from start to finish. Her goal circle partner Sophie Drakeford-Lewis scored 31 goals.
Surrey Storm led by seven goals at the end of the first quarter and by halfway through the game, the writing was on the as the lead was up to 13.
It’s the second win for the Storm who beat Stella Oyella’s Strathclyde Sirens on the season-opening day on Saturday.
Peace thus leapfrogs another Ugandan shooter Mary Nuba Cholhok on the scoring leaderboard as she takes her tally to 93. Cholhok scored 50 on the opening day.
Surrey Storm returns to action on Sunday, February 18 as they host Manchester Thunder.
