Uganda Cranes forward Isma Mugulusi has finally found a new club after several months on the sidelines.
The creative player has been without a club since parting ways with Greek second division outfit Makedonikos Neapolis FC last year.
There were reports linking the Mugulusi to Portuguese side Fereinse in August last year, however, the deal did not materialize.
Today, the former Busoga United FC player has signed a three-year deal with FK Riteriai. The team plays in the second division in Lithuania.
Mugulusi is represented by Sepuya Inc Agency that is headed by former Uganda Cranes striker Eugene Sepuya, who has done the donkey work behind the scenes to make sure the deal comes through.
The Club Director Vytautas Masaitis and the entire coaching staff have been impressed with Mugulusi who has been at the club for some time and played some trial games before the paperwork was done.

Masaitis believes Mugulusi has attributes they have been looking for in a player who can dictate play.
“We were looking for a player who could give power in the middle of the pitch. We wanted a player with certain qualities and skills, such as the ability to attack quickly, play well in transition, as well as having good reading of the game and being able to dictate the tempo of the game. Isma has it all,” he told Kawowo Sports.
Asked about how the club has been able to develop several talents who have joined bigger teams in Europe, the club director stated they have a clear vision.
“I am very happy that the club has a clear vision in which direction it wants to grow, how to achieve the set goals and has already proven many times that it knows how to find young talented players, work with them and allow them to move to strong European leagues. Examples: Tarem Moffi plays for OGC Nice, Oscar Dorley plays for Slavia Prague, Arnas Voitinovic plays for S.L. Benfica. I’m really looking forward to who will be next.” He indicated.
It should be noted that FK Riteriai run their own football academy, which keeps close relationship with AC Milan.
Additionally, they have close contacts with several other clubs across Europe.
The latest products from the club include Arnas Voitinovicius and Colinas Odutayo who moved to Benfica and Lahti respectively.
Mugulusi will therefore be focused on settling in quickly and embark on a return to the Uganda Cranes fold.
