Kutchi Tigers took charge of the Premiership with a clinical five-wicket win against title rivals Ceylon Lions in Lugogo.
Ceylon Lions scored a team effort of 200 runs with lots of significant starts but not big totals which in hindsight was not enough to get over the line.
In response, Kutchi Tigers was pinned at 79/4 at a certain stage but Hasin Ashani (81 not out) was able to anchor the innings for the Tigers and safely get them home.
The win takes Kutchi Tigers to the top of the table and remains unbeaten while Ceylon Lions suffer their first loss of the season.
In the Championship, Tornado and Budo shared the spoils in Budo with each side winning a game out of a possible two.
In the morning game, new boys Calvin Watuwa (44) and Stephen Wabwose (68) blew away the hosts to give Tornado their first win of the season by 102 runs.
In the afternoon, the hosts Budo were defiant limiting the visitors to only 119 runs in their 20 overs and a half-century from Rasheed Mukasa (53) took care of the result.
Budo picked up their first win of the season and something that will motivate them for the rest of the games.
