Baby Cricket Cranes bounced back from their loss to Kenya U-19 on the opening day of the day Easter Youth 50 Over Series with a 5-wicket win over Rwanda U-19.
The visitors won the toss and elected to bat first but some disciplined bowling from the hosts kept the batters very quiet with Ali Balidawa (3/17), Sohera Richard (3/13) and Gurjivan Singh (3/26) the pick of the bowlers. Rwanda U-19 were bundled out on 87.
In the run chase, Gerald Olipa (54) and Ronald Magezi (10) had an opening stand of 47 that set up the chase.
Despite losing a couple of wickets, the game was safe with the hosts picking up a five-wicket win.
The win gives some comfort to the team after losing their first game of the series.
Uganda takes a break tomorrow as Kenya U-19 faces off with Rwanda.
