It is so far good news for Uganda’s representatives at the 2024 ISF world schools’ football championship in Dalian city, China.
Two Uganda male teams; Bukedea Comprehensive and Amus College qualified to the quarter finals following unbeaten runs in the group stages.
Amus College School humilitated Chinese Taipei 7-0 in the most one-sided duel.
Bukedea Comprehensive also humbled Tukmenistan 6-0 during the other contest with many goals.
Amus College edged neighbours Kenya 2-0 having being held by Benin to a none-scoring stalemate.
Hakim Musaaba and Devis Busuulwa scored for Amus College against Kenya.
Bukedea Comprehensive recorded 2-0 identical victories over world greatest footballing countries Brazil and Germany with an upcoming duel against Mexico.
Against Germany, Yusuf Ssebumpenje and Reagan Ssekisambu were on target.
The other Uganda ambassadors, St Mary’s College Kisubi (SMACK) lost all their first three matches; the latest slip being the 3-0 loss to England.
The games continue on Thursday, 23rd May 2024.
