St Mary’s Kitende, Blessed Sacrament Kimanya duel takes center stage at round of 16 | 2025 USSSA Boys’ football

• USSSA Boys’ football (Round of 16 Fixtures):

The exciting 2025 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) boy’s football competition continues with the round of 16 ties and other classification duels on Sunday, 11^th May.

The round of 16 menu is rich and enticing with mouthwatering clashes lined up at different venues.

St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende from Wakiso will tussle out with Blessed Sacrament Kimanya at the Ngora girls ss playground for a slot to the quarter finals.

Kitende humbled Bishop Comboni College 3-0, whilst Kimanya recorded a 1-0 win in their round of 32 triumph over MUMSA High school over Mityana.

2025 Kampala zone champions Uganda Martyrs Lubaga will face GreenLight Islamic at St Aloysious PTC playground 2.

Under head coach Emuron Recoba, Kibuli SS eliminated another Kampala zone school Buziga Islamic 4-1 at the round of 32.

Ahmed Kintu scored twice as Kibesi Wasswa and Eclasi Kawalya also netting a goal apiece for Kibuli SS.

Juma Walum got the consolation for Buziga Islamic school.

Uganda Martyrs Lubaga bundled out Standard High School Ndejje campus 2-0 with Ali Shaban and Andrew Lukyamuzi both on target.

In other duels, Kawempe Muslim takes on Teso region’s Bukedea Comprehensive as Buddo Secondary School face Wisdom SS.

Defending champions St Julian High School will lock-horns against Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA).

Masaka SS will play debutants GreenLight Islamic. Another debutant Kyadondo SS faces Kichwamba SS and Mentor SS plays Jinja Comprehensive Academy.

The quarter finals will come on Monday, 12^th May 2025 ahead of the semi-finals, third place play-off and grand finale.
