Aahil Bagalana's father is Abbey Bagalana, a golf professional who also runs the Birdie Bliss Emporium in Kibuli, Kampala. The father has attributed the son’s success to continuous practice and passion for the sport.
Aahil Bagalana is a promising young golfer who excelled during the 2025 season for the NCBA Junior Golf championship.
Bagalana emerged overall winner for the season after accumulating a total of 180 points in the boys category six years and under.
Out of the six events played throughout the season, he amassed a total of 180 points to topple the rest in this second second.
At Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa, Kigo, Bagalana collected 54 points.
A pupil at Harmony International School, Bagalana scored an identical 46 points at Uganda Golf Club, Entebbe Club and also at Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa during the finale.
In the two other circuits at Lugazi Hills and Country Club (Mehta) and Uganda Golf Club, Bagalana had 45 points apiece.

The other players in the 6 years and under category included Nehemiah Matsiko (170 points) and Elijah Agaba (75 points).
Timothy Samuel Tayebwa Rubandamayon topped the 7 years cluster with 200 points, 50 points ahead of Humuza Buka.
Lugazi based Varad Mahendra Godse won 8 years pool with 177.5 points ahead of Aleksander Sequeira (155) and Austin Abraham Abaho (122.5).
Dante Kawalya won the age group of 9 years with 210 points as Ahmad Imran (128.5) and Jeremy Kirabo Nsereko (99) followed suit.
Lucas Kimara (210), Ethan Namara (120) and Nigel Yoash Ssemambo (101) were the respective top three in the age group 10.
Meanwhile, the first leg of the NCBA Ugandan series 2025 will drive off on Saturday, 14 June 2025 at the par-72Uganda Golf Club, Kitante in Kampala.
Later on, Jinja and Entebbe clubs will also have different legs with the overall winners of each tourney earning a spot in the grand finale to represent the country at the grand finale due in Kenya come November 2025.
