Less than 24 hours after announcing the departure of Morley Byekwaso, SC Villa have named a new head coach.

As earlier reported on our platforms, the new coach is Serbian Milincic Nemanja, a Serbian whose biggest job was being assistant on the Bulgarian National Team in 2022/23.

The club, in a statement signed by CEO William Nkemba however didn’t state the duration of the contract for the Serbian who becomes the fourth from his country to take charge of the Jogoos after Mulitin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic (2001-2004), Srdan Zivjnov (2011/12) and Dusan Stojanovic (2023/24).

Milincic said: “I am honoured and thrilled to join SC Villa, a club with such a rich history and dedicated fan base. I am eager to work with the players, staff and management to build a formidable team that will challenge for every available trophy. I know expectations are high and am committed to delivering success and making our supporters proud.”

Omar Mandela (Villa President) said: “After a thorough selection process, we are confident that Milincic’s experience, vision, expertise and passion of the game will align perfectly with our ambitions.
