After concluding the recent international break, Uganda have dropped to the 85th, falling from 83rd, a position they were placed in October.
Paul Put’s charges edged Chad 2-1 before a humbling 4-0 loss to Morocco in the previous international friendlies.
Even after slipping two positions, the Uganda Cranes find themselves in a better place than their fellow East African nations, as Tanzania, Kenya, and Rwanda rank 112th, 113th and 131st, respectively.
Uganda have a chance to improve its standings as it takes on Nigeria, Tunisia and Tanzania in Group C of the upcoming AFCON championship.
