Kitara will be aiming to win another game against Maroons when the two sides face off at Luzira on Thursday as the league resumes.

The Royals are undefeated against the Prison Warders since losing their maiden premier league meeting in 2023 and have won the last three in succession.

Wasswa Bbosa’s men won the reverse fixture 2-0 with Patrick Kaddu getting a double and the former Maroons player will again be the man tasked to unlock the backline of the hosts.

With 29 points in 5th position, a win will lift the Royals to second position.

They go into the game confident having won three of the last four matches while Maroons are winless in four league matches.

Maroons, currently 9th with 18 points will jump to 21 points and seventh place.

Elsewhere, Police host Lugazi at the Police Arena in Kamwokya while Mbarara City are at home against Calvary.
