7th USSSA Elite Championship: Volleyball full draw for either gender

• Event: 7th USSSA Elite Championship
• Dates: 27th February to 1st March 2026
• Games: Volleyball, Handball, Football, Netball, Basketball (5X5 & 3X3), Rugby
• Host: Janan S.S, Bombo

The 7th edition of the USSSA Elite Championship starts on 27th February and shall climax on the 1st March 2026 at the Janan Secondary School, Bombo.

This is one championship that schools look gear towards as they assemble their respective squads for the 2026 sporting season.

Volleyball, Handball, Football, Netball, Rugby and Basketball (3X3 and 5X5) will be the games on the menu.

On Wednesday, 25th February 2026, the draws for all the games were held at the GNS Plaza Hotel in Mengo.

USSSA Executive officials led by Alfred Okanya, Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi and Godlive Apolot graced the draws.

Secretariat officials Emmanuel Kasakya (competitions director) and Bosco Omario (marketing, communications and ICT director) also attended.

Seven teams for the boys were drawn to include hosts Janan Secondary School,  Namagabi S.S, Bukedea Comprehensive School (BCS), Seroma Christian High School, Standard High School, Zzana, St Kaggwa Bushenyi High School and St Benardic Secondary School.

Girls:

 Sheema High School,  Katikamu SDA, St Elizabeth Girls School, Bukedea Comprehensive and Seroma Christian High School are the five girls’ teams.

The mode of play will be round robin to determine the successful school.

Schools are expected to report at Janan SS, Bombo on Thursday, 26th February 2026 ahead of match day one on the subsequent day.
