Overview:
The champions Senegal (boys) and Ghana (girls) will earn $ 300,000 (at least Ug.Shs 1.1 billion) each. The two losing finalists Uganda and Burkina Faso take home $200,000 (at least Ug.Shs 738M) each. Each of the bronze medalists will earn $150,000 (at least Ug.Shs 554M).

Senegal and Ghana won the boys and girls respective titles during the 2026 CAF African Schools Football U-15 Championship.
The final two matches were played under sunny conditions at the Ngoni stadium in Harare city, Zimbabwe on Friday, April 2026.
The tournament climax was also watched by the CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe and other dignitaries.
Both finals were determined by post-match penalties after normal time (40 minutes total duration) ended goal-less for both gender.
The boys’ final had Senegal beat Uganda (represented by St Mary’s Kitende) 5-4 in post-match penalties whilst Ghana successfully defended their girls’ title with a 9-8 victory in post-match spot kicks over fellow West Africans Burkina Faso.

In normal time for the boys’ final; the second half produced the best chances to break the deadlock for the two sides not utilized.
Shakur Ngobi blasted over from close range after being set up by play-maker Owen Mukisa.
Moments later, Mamadou’s half volley was stopped by the Ugandan goalkeeper Imran Ssebbale.
Ssebbale was later replaced by Hamidu Kasumba who completed the game and took part in the shoot-out.

Uganda’s bold road to the final:
Uganda has so far played four games at the CAF Schools football championship with two victories and two draws.
Uganda opened with a 1-all draw with hosts Zimbabwe in the tournament’s official opener.
They then clobbered Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) 6-0 before triumphing Morocco 3-0.
The semi-final clash with Benin ended goalless in normal before Uganda won 4-3 on post-match penalties.
Meanwhile, the bronze medal match shall be between Benin and Morocco.
