Kiyinda Boys Football Club subjected FUFA Big League table leaders Blacks Power to a 0-1 loss at the Bethelem stadium.

Veteran striker Frank “Machete” Kalanda scored a last-minute gasp goal for the maximum points that elevated Kiyinda Boys to 35 points, and close gap on the top clubs.

The defeat was heart breaking for Blacks Power who could not afford to drop any points at the final bend of the season as they remain with 42 points off 24 matches.

Kigezi Home Boyz stand to gain three boardroom points following the no-show of Mbale Heroes having failed to travel to Kabale for their match.

Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) is yet to come out and make a ruling.

Meanwhile, Ntugasaze Football Club boldly underlined their season’s aspirations of being promoted to the top tier league in Uganda with a brave 2-0 victory over Iganga United at Kavumba Recreational Stadium.

James Jarieko and Hudson Mbalire were on target for Ntugasaze as they consolidate third place with 40 points.

Kataka played to a 1-all draw on the road with Wakiso Giants at Hamz stadium (Nakivubo War Memorial grounds).

The Mbale based side stays fourth with 38 points.

Paidha Black Angels also earned a point in Kasese after their 1-all draw with Bunyaruguru United.

The West Nile derby between Nebbi Central and Onduparaka also failed to produce a clear cut winner following a 1-all stalemate in normal time.

Four top clubs shall be promoted to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League next season.

In the same vein, four bottom lagging sides will be demoted to the respective regional leagues.
