FUFA Women Super League Champions Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC have on Friday unveiled their new jersey ahead of the 2026/27 season. The new kit will make its debut at the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers where the Valley Warriors will represent Uganda.
The jersey that comes in three predominant colors ( sky blue, red and black) was officially revealed on Friday at Harris International Limited Headquarters in Kawempe where their flagship drinking water brand Krystal Water is the official sponsor of Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Mahmoud Seblini, the commercial director at Krystal Water said they are proud of the success Kawempe Muslim has attained recently, including becoming Champions.
“ We are delighted as Harris International that we partnered with a club that has great history and continues to attain success. Last season they emerged Champions and we are proud of that milestone,” he said.
Seblini further stressed that their partnership goes beyond sponsorship but also looks at empowering young talent in sports and developing communities.
“Our partnership is strategic and goes beyond just sponsorship but rather helping in nurturing of a girl child and helping the community to develop.” He said.
Phillip Kiboijana, the Brand Manager at Harris International lauded Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC for their success and stated that they partnered with a great team that has great history and wished them the best of luck ahead of the CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers.
“We are pleased that we associate with a team which is very successful both on and off the pitch and we wish them success in the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers.” He said.
Hamza Waiswa, the CEO of Kawempe Muslim was thankful to Kystal Water for their continued support to the club since 2023.
Kawempe Muslim is preparing to take part in the CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers slated to start on 22nd August in Kigali, Rwanda.
The Valley Warriors are in Group B alongside Commercial Bank of Ethiopia and UJECO from Djibouti. This is the second time that Kawempe Muslim is taking part in the regional qualifiers with their maiden appearance coming in 2024.
In a bid to bolster there squad, the club has already added two new places; Cecilia Apiding from Lady Doves and Anita Namata who returned to the club for a third stint.
