Uganda’s contingent at Young Africans Women’s Team keeps growing ahead of the new season.

So far, the club has signed four Ugandan female footballers in the ongoing transfer window.

The Club first signed left back Sumaya Komuntale from She Corporate on a two-year deal before adding combative midfielder Joan Nabirye.

Now the latest acquisition has seen Yanga Princesses secure the services of goalkeeper Molly Nabitaka alias Naava and diminutive midfielder Resty Kobusobozi.

Nabitaka arrives from She Corporate, where she had a stellar performance that saw her named goalkeeper of the 2025/26 season.

Kobusobozi, on the other hand, has been plying her trade at Lady Doves.

Young Africans are in the process of restructuring the team and have been very busy in the market.

The other new additions include experienced Ethiopian defender Mesay Temesgen, Sandrine Mutuyimana, Semeni Juma, Fatuma Aron, Vera Afful and Salamata Kouanda, among others.
