Aaron Ofoyrwoth and Pius Ogena had a successful outing during the Scandinavian Copenhagen 7s last weekend.

Lions Rugby 7s, for whom they played during the tournament, won the men’s Cup Final on Sunday, August 11. Lions went unbeaten for the two days.

They bagged a EUR 1,000 (about four million Uganda shillings) cash prize for the triumph.

Ofoyrwoth and Ogena competed in the tournament on invitation from Egg Chasers Rugby franchise.

Ofoyrwoth and Ogena will return home to join their local clubs Heathens and KOBs respectively in the ongoing 2024 Nile Special 7s.
