Uganda international midfielder Sula “Malouda” Matovu, is beginning to settle down in his new enviroment at BK Hacken a top side in the Allsvenskan in Sweden.
“Sula is doing well in Hacken. He is on a new environment and still adapting with the style of play and life over there,” Fastino Mukandila Tshitende, the agent for the Ugandan player said in an e-mail. “The coach look really happy with him.They just came back from a camp in Dubai. Sula played against Dallas FC they won 3-1 and he scored 1 goal and made 1 assist.”
The Ugandan crafty midfielder will be playing in another pre-season friendly against Gais,Goteborg ahead of the new soccer season that is set to kick-off next month.
“Actually today he will be playing for his side as they play against Gais Goteborg. He is now getting to get the feel of Swedish football,” Tshitende added. “We have no doubt the boy will be hit in Sverige(Sweden) and the coach in Hacken are going step by step with him to gain full confidence and learn the tactical game.”
Matovu signed with the Goteborg outfit from Iran side Erbil SC he previously also had loan stints with Saint George of Ethiopia will still being under Proline Football Club, who eventually released him after falling out with them.
Matovu, is one of the four African players playing in this Swedish side.
