Group C:
- Haiti 0-1 Scotland
- Brazil 1-1 Morocco
Scotland edged Haiti 1-0 at the Boston Stadium, Foxborough, to go top of Group C in the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup.
John McGinn was the hero with a first-half goal.
The 31-year-old Aston Villa midfielder scored off a heavily deflected ball as Scotland registered their first victory since 1990.
Efforts by the World Cup debutants, Haiti, to find the equaliser were futile.

Scotland is now top of Group C in a group that also has Brazil and African ambassadors Morocco.
Morocco held the five-time record winners Brazil to a one-all draw at the  New York New Jersey stadium.
Ismael Saibari opened the scoring in the 20th minute with a wonder loop before Vinicius Jose Paixo de Oliveira Junior equalised 10 minutes later.
