Reigning Ugandan Player of the Year, Miya had a stellar year that gives him yet another shot at the prestigious individual prize in Ugandan football.

Miya was one of the key actors as Uganda Cranes broke the 39 year old jinx to qualify for the Africa Nations Cup finals.

Cometh the moment, cometh the man as the midfielder cum forward scored the winner against Comoros that earned the nation a spot at Gabon 2017.

The former Vipers’ man, who celebrated his 19th Birth Day started the year on a brilliant note as after captaining the Cranes at the CHAN finals in Kigali, earned a dream move to Belgium giants Standard Liege in a deal alleged to be worth $ 400,000 from Vipers.

Although he is yet to cement a berth on the senior team at club level (understandably so), he has been superb for country.
