- Bright Stars Vs Masavu – Champions Stadium, Mwererwe (4:30 p.m)

Masavu Football Club assistant coach Alex Mulibanga Gitta has hailed the fighting spirit from his players.
I must say that credit goes to the players for the fighting spirit shown of late.
We won 2-1 at Express and again won 1-0 at home to visiting BUL. This is a clear indication that the we are have recovered from the turbulent times.
Gitta’s comments come at a time the club which has been of late struggling to attain results recorded two successive victories.
After winning 2-1 at Wankulukuku against Express, Masavu worked for a 1-0 slim victory at the Fisheries Training Institute playground in Bugonga last Saturday.
Gitta has since called the players to maintain the status quo as they target consistence.
Consistence will be a key factor in our current campaign because the struggle is to avoid relegation.
Until the 1-0 victory against BUL at Bugonga, Masavu had virtually lost all the home games against Police (board room decision), Vipers (2-0) and Maroons (1-0).
They also fell 1-0 to Soana at Kavumba Recreational stadium, won 1-0 over Proline at Lugogo and lost terribly 6-0 to KCCA arguably the biggest loss for any club in the season.
Masavu makes the short trip across town on Tuesday to play Bright Stars at the Champions Stadium in Mwererwe.
Charles Odeke, an unused substitute in the match against BUL is expected to be utilized given his stature and ball holding abilities.
Other players of substance include Onesmas Andama, Ndugwa, Fred Umony, defender Brian Nsubuga, Sadala, Sande Mukiibi, the utility Ibrahim Pengere and Charles ‘Napia’ Wamala among others.
Bright Stars has been the season revelation with convincing displays frustrating ‘big teams’ as KCCA (goal-less at Lugogo) and Express (0-0 at Wankulukuku).
