Bunamwaya SC striker Martin Muwanga insists his club is not out of the title contention despite drawing goal less with Fire Masters yesterday at Buikwe.

Edward Golola’s side lost an opportunity to close the gap on table leaders Express FC and lie third on 37 points five behind Sam Ssimbwa’s side. “It was dissapointing because we had a chance to go second and keep Express FC on tenterhooks but that is football. You drop points in certain games”, said

Muwanga.

The former Police forward also maintained that perhaps points against fellow contenders will matter the most and insisted even URA FC and Express FC will also drop points. “Its a marathon, URA FC and Express FC will also drop points. Our target is to take points off them which am sure will happen since we host them at Buikwe”, he concluded.

Bunamwaya still has to play Express FC and URA FC in the second round though as it stands, the top three are all capable of league triumph.
