
Ugandan centre referee Denis Batte and assistant referee Musa Balikoowa have this morning passed a test to officiate at the forth coming CECAFA Club Championship that kicks tomorrow 14th July Saturday in Dar es Salaam.
Batte and Balikoowa were among the 15 officials from the region appointed to officiate games at the regional event subject to passing a Physical Endurance Test (PET).
The duo along side 12 other officials successfully passed the test held this morning in Dar es Salaam ahead of tomorrow’s kick off.
Only Aden Farah Ali from Djibouti failed the test leaving the number of officials at this year’s event at 14.
Tanzania and Kenya contributed the biggest number with three officials each, Rwanda, Zanzibar and Uganda have two each while Djibouti has one.
