UVF Presidents’ Cup 2014

Ahead of the long awaited kick – off of the Uganda Volleyball Federation (UVF) season kicking tournament, the federation’s long time partners, Nile Breweries Limited under the castle lite brand confirmed support towards the 2014 Presidents Cup that shall be held this coming weekend.
“The offer is timely and Castle Lite joins Zig Zag entertainment that has offered free music, entertainment and the Public address system”, Godwin Ssenyondo, a Uganda Volleyball Federation official in charge of technical issues confirms.
The draws for both genders has been already made with fixtures released and kick- off has been scheduled for 9: 00 a.m on Saturday at the Makerere University Business School Volleyball Upper and Lower courts.
The regions have been extended to 10 this year round. The teams together with their co-ordinators are; Central teams – Ms. Mary Florence Nannyondo, Western City based teams – Mr. Muhangi Warren, Far East City based teams – Mr. Solomon Malinga, Near East City based teams – Mr. Wakabi Dennis, Northern City based teams – Mr. Komakech Innocent, Western Up country teams – Mr. Byamazima Innocent and Alex Tam Mbaine, West Nile Up country team (Men only) – Mr. Albert Pithuwa, Near East Up country – Mr. Tonny Muyagu Kim M Tonny), Far East Up country – Mr. Patrick Okore c/o Moses Santa Perez Okello and Northern Up country (Men only) – Mr. Otara Stephen White.
