Weeks after agreeing personal terms with Swed ‘Di Maria’ Satugombo, newly promoted Uganda Premier League, Mbarara City has completed the crafty Congolese winger for a 3-year deal.
Satugombo is joined by right back, Zaidi ‘FC’ Byekwaso who put pen to paper on a one year contract.
Whereas Satugombo has been a free agent, Byekwaso crosses over from rivals, Mbarara.
The duo featured in Sunday’s friendly match against Ntoda at the Kyamate playground in Ntungamo.
The test match ended in a two-all draw where either players impressed.
Junior Ainamani and Samalie were on target for the league new comers who recently held trials for a couple of players.
The club is still in talks with former Burundi captain, Gael Duhayindavyi, according to the media manager, Mike Ddungu.
The search for the right players is still on as the pre season preparations for the club continue to take shape.
