A ten man Malaba Youth Development Association (MYDA) side edged Onduparaka 3-2 at the Aba Bet Green Light Stadium, Arua on Tuesday, 20th April 2021.

MYDA twice came from a goal down to attain maximum points on match day 19 of the 2020-21 Uganda Premier League.

Moses Okot (penalty) and Jamal Malish were on target for the Catarpillars.

Erick Mutebi had two well struck penalties and an unfortunate own goal from goalkeeper Tonny Kyamera inspired MYDA, miles away from home.

Okot scored a penalty to give Onduparaka the lead on 17 minutes.

Mutebi replied with a penalty for the Flying Eagles towards the half hour mark.

Malish restored Onduparaka’s lead in the 46th minute before Mutebi’s second penalty 10 minutes from full time.

A late minute gasp own goal from goalkeeper Kyamera gave MYDA the maximum points in the game.

MYDA played the final 13 minutes of the game with a man less following the sending off of Brandy Lojum.

MYDA’s Mutebi was named the pilsner man of the match.

This was MYDA’s second win of the season as the Eastern Uganda based side accumulates 9 points from 19 matches but remains second from bottom.

Meanwhile, in the other matches, Police further condemned bottom lagging Kitara 4-1 at Lugogo, Wakiso Giants held Vipers 0-0 at Kitende, Soltilo Bright Stars beat Express 2-1 (Kavumba) as BUL overcame visiting UPDF 4-3 at the Kyabazinga Stadium, Jinja.
