Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) second division entity Calvary Football Club hired the services of forward Ali Okto Magomu.
The Yumbe district based FUFA Big League side agreed with Magomu after penning a year-long employment contract.
Previously a free agent, Magomu comes with the worthy experience as the second half of the 2021-2022 season comes knocking.
He has since openly expressed the desire to work his heart out and help the club attain promotion to the Uganda Premier League.
“It is a blessing to get employed and I am ready to work alongside my fellow teammates as we aim being promoted to the Uganda Premier League. This calls for spirited teamwork both at training and matches. ” Magoomu revealed to Kawowo Sports.

He has previously played for Bugembe United, Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF), Sports Club Villa, Soltilo Bright Stars, Wakiso Giants, lately Masindi based Doves.
Magoomu has already traveled to the West Nile region where he has been training with the rest of his teammates ahead of the second round for the 2021-2022 season.
He joins another fresh signing in Allan Patrick, a forward formerly at Maroons.
This coming Friday, 4th February 2022, Calvary has organized a build-up game against a yet to be identified club.
Calvary is coached by Geofrey Akena who is deputized by John Ongodia.
After 10 matches that ended the first round, Calvary is 5th on the 11 team log with 16 points, same as Maroons who have a better goal difference.
Calvary is christened as “The Horizon Stars” and it has its tap roots deeply embedded on the values of Christianity with a firm base of a church foundation.
They host their home games at the Aba Bet Green Light Stadium in Arua city.
