As he grew up, exciting footballer Sulaiman Mulumba harbored a bold dream of playing professional football.
Through the ranks at Lungujja Galaxy, Welden High School and Masaka Secondary School, Mulumba, an offensive player worked hard to attain the feat.
As the adage goes; “Fortune favours the prepared” indeed Mulumba is now living the dream having penned a five-year deal with Spanish Segunda outfit CD Leganes.
“This is humbling” a visibly excited Mulumba attested to Kawowo Sports as he checked in at Entebbe International Airport for the immigrations on his way to professional football.
“I will remain as hard-working as ever and keep the focus because this is one step of my journey to become an established football professional” Mulumba, a left footer added.

Until his departure, Mulumba has been featuring at Lungujja Galaxy Football Club.
Mulumba will follow other Lungujja Galaxy players who have successfully trod the professional football journey as Islam Ssemakula (Sportiv Orasenesc Retezatul, Romania) and David Baunda Mawejje (IFK Goteborg, Sweden).
At CD Leganes, he will join another Ugandan, Ibrahim Juma.
His move to Spain was engineered by former Victors and KCCA forward Umar Bulega alongside football enthusiast Bashir Lumala (a professional healthcare specialist in Bio-Technology).
