Ugandan winger Abdul “Electric-man” Lumala penned a new deal at Croatian entity Nogometni klub Slaven Belupo, a top tier club.

The wide-man who has been unemployed since parting ways with Vipers Sports Club expressed readiness to feature in the Croatia football league.

I can’t wait to play in the Croatian league, which is extremely competitive and difficult. I am my own biggest critic, so I will do my best at all times to repay the club for the trust shown.

Lumala has previously played in Sweden (Mjällby AIF, Kalmar FF, Varbergs BoIS, Helsingborgs IF, IFK Värnamo as wel as  Syrianska FC) and Egypt with Pyramids Sports Club before making a return to mother country, Uganda where he has been capped six times for the senior national team, The Cranes.

He joins Nogometni klub Slaven Belupo, a club that is christened as the “Pharmacists” with a rich history owing its founding date way back in 1907.

They are based in Koprivnica city, in the north of Croatia and host their home matches at 3134 seater Gradski stadion.

Nogometni klub Slaven Belupo is currently managed by Roy Ferenčina.
